PHOENIX (December 13, 2017) — Phoenix Rising FC announced today it has signed midfielder Devin Vega for the 2018 season. Vega spent his 2017 rookie season with San Antonio FC where he scored three goals and notched two assists.

Vega, a San Antonio native, signed his first professional contract with San Antonio FC in January 2017 and made his professional debut as a substitute on April 7. Prior to his professional career, Vega played at the FC Dallas Academy, scoring 14 goals in 39 official academy matches and helping his team win the 2016 U17/18 national championship.
Vega also has international experience. He played with the U-17 U.S. National Team alongside U.S. international Christian Pulisic and helped the squad win the 2014 Aegean Cup in Turkey. He also appeared with the U-19 U.S. National Team in October 2016.
