PHOENIX (September 25, 2018) — Phoenix Rising defender Joe Farrell was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 28 of the 2018 USL season the league announced today. On Saturday evening, Farrell scored his fourth goal of the season while also notching a team-high 13 clearances and winning four of six duels in the club's 2-1 win over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.
Farrell becomes the 10th Rising player to be honored this season.
Phoenix Rising returns home this Saturday to take on Saint Louis FC. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and the first 2,500 fans will receive a rally towel courtesy of the Mayo Clinic. Tickets remain but are limited. Fans can purchase them at www.phxrisingfc.com.
